SAP CPI Consultant / Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP CPI Consultant with hands-on expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Integration Suite. The ideal candidate should have experience in designing, developing, deploying, and supporting integration solutions between SAP and non-SAP applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy integration flows (iFlows) using SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite.
- Build integrations between SAP and third-party applications using REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, RFC, JDBC, SFTP, and SuccessFactors adapters.
- Configure message mappings, routing, transformations, and exception handling.
- Develop Groovy scripts, XSLT mappings, and custom integration logic.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve interface issues through message monitoring and trace logs.
- Implement secure integrations using SSL, OAuth, Basic Authentication, SAML, and PGP encryption.
- Work with SAP Cloud Connector and BTP Cockpit for connectivity and administration.
- Perform unit testing, system integration testing, deployment, and production support.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, business users,



and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver integration solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation and follow SAP integration best practices.

Required Skills

- 36 years of experience in SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite.
- Strong knowledge of SAP BTP Integration Suite.
- Experience with REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, RFC, JDBC, SFTP, JMS, and HTTP adapters.
- Hands-on experience with XML, JSON, XSLT, XPath, and message mappings.
- Good knowledge of Groovy scripting.
- Experience with SAP Cloud Connector and BTP Cockpit.
- Understanding of integration patterns, error handling, logging, and monitoring.
- Knowledge of API integrations and SAP security concepts.
- Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, or other SAP cloud applications is preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Valuable to Have

- Experience in SAP PI/PO to CPI migration.
- Knowledge of API Management, Event Mesh, or Open Connectors.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- SAP BTP or SAP CPI Certification.
