Job Summary

The Key Account Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. They ensure warehouse operations run smoothly, maintain stock accuracy, and manage a team of warehouse staff to maximize productivity, safety, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.

Implement and optimize warehouse layout for effective storage and retrieval.

Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.

Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.

Inventory Management

Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure compliance with company policies.





Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize stock discrepancies and losses.

Oversee stock replenishment and ensure timely order fulfillment.

Team Management

Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring high levels of productivity and efficiency.

Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide feedback to team members.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Safety & Compliance

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including proper handling and storage of goods.

Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce the use of protective equipment.

Reporting & Documentation

Prepare and maintain reports on warehouse performance, stock levels, and discrepancies.

Ensure proper documentation of inbound and outbound shipments.

Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and operations efficiently.

Qualification & Experience:

Graduate/Postgraduate in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field

5-8 years of experience in warehouse operations or key account management, preferably in the apparel/textile/FMCG sector

Experience managing both raw material and finished goods inventory
