Role & responsibilities

Plan, organize, and monitor daily production activities to achieve production targets.

- Ensure timely completion of orders as per delivery schedules.
- Supervise overall shop floor operations and maintain smooth workflow.
- Allocate manpower and resources efficiently across production departments.
- Lead, motivate, and manage production supervisors and shop floor workers.
- Monitor productivity and implement measures to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and minimize rejection and rework.
- Coordinate with Design, Merchandising, PPC, CRM, Quality, Stores, and Dispatch teams.
- Monitor the availability and utilization of raw materials, gold, diamonds, gemstones, and consumables.
- Control production costs, wastage, and process losses.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, quality systems, and manufacturing processes.
- Conduct daily production review meetings and monitor work progress.
- Resolve production bottlenecks and operational issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate production records, MIS reports, and productivity data.




- Ensure adherence to safety, security, and housekeeping standards on the shop floor.
- Monitor employee attendance, discipline, and overall team performance.
- Identify training needs and develop team capabilities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen.
- Ensure proper handling and accountability of precious metals and high-value materials.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to minimize machine downtime.
- Meet monthly production, quality, and efficiency KPIs.
- Support new product development and smooth production implementation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and statutory regulations.
- Build a positive work culture focused on teamwork, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Preferred candidate profile

8-10 years of jewellery production experience

Excellent in people management
