Position: SEO Content Writer
Location: Bangalore (Office-based)
Experience: 3-5 years
Responsibilities:
1. Content Creation & Strategy
Write SEO-optimized content for websites, blogs, landing pages, and
city-specific pages.
Create informative, engaging, and keyword-rich content that aligns with
NorthStar Academys objectives.
Develop pillar pages and cluster pages to improve site structure and SEO
rankings.
Research industry-related topics to establish authority and relevance for
search engines.
2. SEO Optimization
Conduct keyword research to identify the best keywords for content.
Optimize web content for SEO, including titles, headers, and meta
descriptions.
Regularly update and optimize website content, blog posts, and landing
pages.
Implement on-page SEO strategies like internal linking, multimedia
optimization, and content updates.
3. Performance Analysis & Reporting
Use SEO tools like SEMrush, Google Analytics, and Ahrefs to track content
performance.

Provide detailed reports on keyword rankings, traffic metrics, and content
performance.
Analyze SEO performance and adjust content strategies accordingly to
improve visibility.
4. Content Development & Editing
Produce high-quality, error-free content that appeals to both B2B and B2C
audiences.
Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy,



consistency, and alignment
with brand guidelines.
Work closely with the design team to create visually appealing content.
5. Collaboration & Coordination
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop content strategies for
campaigns.
Work with external freelancers when needed to ensure content is delivered on
time.
Contribute to content calendars and work towards meeting SEO goals and
deadlines.
6. Continuous Learning & Staying Updated
Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, Google algorithm changes, and best
practices.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve SEO and content creation skills.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
3-5 years of SEO content writing experience, particularly in education or
finance.
Robust knowledge of SEO tools like SEMrush, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, and
WordPress.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
Ability to conduct keyword research and create SEO-friendly content.
Knowledge of web analytics and performance tracking tools.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and the ability to
manage website content.
Experience with multimedia content creation (design, video, etc.) is a plus.
