Key Responsibilities - Review the complete entity Trial Balance during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes, investigating unusual movements and incomplete postings. - Ensure all Balance Sheet GLs are reconciled, substantiated, and compliant, providing necessary supporting schedules. - Analyze the full P&L;, validate accruals and reclassifications, and provide clear commentary to P&L; owners and reporting stakeholders. - Oversee manufacturing-related accounting areas, including inventory, cost of goods sold, standard costs, and fixed assets. - Serve as the entity contact for Group Reporting on submissions, schedules, and variance analysis, resolving accounting issues efficiently. - Coordinate external audit activities for assigned entities, ensuring evidence review and query resolution. - Review outputs from process operations teams to ensure accurate and compliant accounting across various finance processes. - Identify control gaps and drive timely remediation, standardization, and process improvement initiatives. Overview - The Senior Manager of Supply Accounting plays a crucial role in ensuring financial integrity for assigned manufacturing entities. - This position is based in Bangalore and is a key part of the consulting sector. - The role involves managing and reviewing the complete Trial Balance, all Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss GLs, and resolving any accounting and control issues in a timely manner. - This role requires close collaboration with Group Reporting, Supply Finance, P&L; owners, and process operations teams to deliver accurate, compliant,



and audit-ready financial results. - A deep understanding of manufacturing accounting, including inventory, cost of goods sold, and fixed assets, is essential. - The Senior Manager will coordinate external audit activities and act as the primary contact for Group Reporting on submissions, schedules, and resolving accounting issues. - This role demands a high level of expertise in financial accounting, entity reporting, and strong stakeholder management skills. - Candidates are expected to possess professional certifications such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or CMA, with significant experience in relevant fields. - This position offers an opportunity to influence and initiate improvements in financial processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial reporting. Requirements - Strong experience in financial accounting, entity reporting, and TB review, with a focus on Balance Sheet control and P&L; analysis. - Deep understanding of manufacturing accounting, including inventory valuation, cost of goods sold, and manufacturing variances. - Proficient in IFRS, financial controls, group reporting, and audit requirements. - Ability to review reconciliations, journals, and accounting issues with a solid attention to detail. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience in problem-solving under tight deadlines. - Professional certification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or CMA is preferred, with a significant track record in relevant fields. - Experience in managing external audits and ensuring timely closure of audit actions.
