Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Asst. Manager Global Sourcing & Procurement to lead global sourcing and procurement activities for imported products. The role will be responsible for international supplier sourcing, container shipping, import procurement, vendor development, commercial negotiations, logistics coordination, and cost optimization, ensuring uninterrupted supply and timely availability of materials.

Key Responsibilities

1. International Sourcing & Supplier Development (Mandatory)

- Source products from international manufacturers and suppliers.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop new overseas suppliers.
- Build long-term relationships with global vendors.
- Conduct supplier performance evaluations and periodic reviews.

2. Import Procurement & Container Sourcing & Shipment(Sea) (Mandatory)

- Manage end-to-end import procurement from supplier selection to warehouse delivery.
- Plan and optimize container sourcing (FCL/LCL) based on procurement requirements and shipment schedules.
- Coordinate container booking with freight forwarders and shipping lines.
- Optimize container utilization to reduce freight costs.
- Track shipment schedules and ensure timely dispatch from suppliers.

3. Import Documentation & Customs Coordination

- Coordinate with suppliers for:
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Bill of Lading / Air Waybill




- Certificate of Origin
- Insurance Certificate
- Shipping Documents

- Coordinate with CHA for customs clearance and timely cargo release.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Hands-on experience in international sourcing and global procurement (Mandatory).
- Strong experience in container sourcing, container planning, and shipment consolidation (Mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of import documentation and customs procedures.
- Excellent commercial negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of Incoterms, international trade practices, and freight management.
- Robust analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.

Experience

- 7+ years of experience in Procurement / Strategic Sourcing / Import Procurement.
- Hands-on experience in international sourcing and container procurement is mandatory.
- Experience in imported building materials, tiles, natural stones, sanitary ware, furniture, or similar industries will be highly preferred.
