Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Resident Cardiologist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team at our Jagdalpur facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with cardiovascular diseases while providing high-quality inpatient and outpatient cardiac care. The role requires collaboration with physicians, intensivists, emergency teams, and nursing staff to ensure timely and effective patient management.

Key Responsibilities

- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular diseases.
- Conduct inpatient rounds and provide consultation for referred patients.
- Attend outpatient cardiology clinics and follow-up consultations.
- Interpret ECGs, Echocardiograms, Holter monitoring, TMT, and other non-invasive cardiac investigations.
- Stabilize and manage cardiac emergencies, including Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS), arrhythmias, heart failure, and hypertensive emergencies.
- Assist in and perform invasive cardiac procedures as per experience and institutional protocols.
- Coordinate with ICU, Emergency, Internal Medicine, and other specialties for comprehensive patient care.
- Develop evidence-based treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.




- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and medical standards.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, CMEs, and departmental meetings.
- Be available for emergency calls and rotational duties as per the hospital schedule.

Qualifications

- MD/DNB (General Medicine) with DM/DNB (Cardiology) or equivalent qualification recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Valid State Medical Council/NMC registration.
- Fellowship or additional certification in Interventional Cardiology is desirable but not mandatory.

Experience

- Fresh DM/DNB graduates or candidates with 0–5 years of experience are welcome to apply.
- Experience in managing cardiac emergencies and critical care patients will be an added advantage.
