SMBT is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Hospital Pharmacist to ensure the accurate dispensing of medicines, effective inventory management, and exceptional patient service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling pharmacy operations, verifying prescriptions, counseling patients, and ensuring compliance with hospital and pharmacy regulations.

Key Responsibilities

- Attend to patients and customers at the pharmacy counter in a professional and courteous manner.
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, and potential drug interactions before dispensing medications.
- Dispense medicines as prescribed by authorized medical practitioners.
- Counsel patients on the proper use of medications, dosage schedules, storage, and possible side effects.
- Process pharmacy billing and collect payments accurately.
- Maintain accurate sales records, billing records, and pharmacy documentation.
- Monitor medicine inventory, stock levels, and expiry dates to ensure uninterrupted availability.
- Coordinate with procurement and stores for timely replenishment of medicines and medical supplies.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines as per regulatory guidelines.
- Comply with hospital policies, pharmacy regulations, and quality standards.
- Support regular stock verification and inventory audits.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the pharmacy.

Qualifications

- Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized institution.

- Freshers with the required qualification and registration are encouraged to apply.
