We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Stores Manager to oversee the operations of our temporary warehouse at the solar power erection site in Beed, Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in inventory management, logistics, and team leadership. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and equipment to support the solar power project's construction and installation.

Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and equipment against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Organize and store materials in designated areas, ensuring proper labeling and identification.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using manual or digital systems (e.g., SAP, WMS).
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment orders as needed.
- Manage and track the movement of materials to and from the construction site.

Warehouse Operations:

- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff.
- Ensure productive and safe material handling practices, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment.
- Implement and enforce warehouse policies and procedures.

Logistics Coordination:

- Coordinate with the project team and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery and dispatch of materials.




- Track shipments and resolve any delivery issues or discrepancies.
- Optimize transportation routes and schedules for cost-efficiency.

Reporting:

- Prepare regular inventory reports and analysis for management.
- Provide updates on stock levels, material movement, and warehouse performance.

Team Leadership:

- Train and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and safety regulations.

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

Experience:

- Minimum 8 years of overall work experience.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role (e.g., warehouse supervisor, stores manager, logistics coordinator) preferably in the construction or renewable energy industry.

Skills:

- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems (SAP, WMS, or similar).
- Knowledge of material handling equipment and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
