About Technowand

Technowand is a growing Australian Managed IT Services Provider delivering IT Support, Cybersecurity, Cloud, AI Automation, and Custom Software solutions. We're looking for a detail-oriented QA Tester to ensure the quality of our web and mobile applications while collaborating closely with developers, project teams, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using Jira or similar tools.
- Work closely with developers to verify bug fixes and perform retesting.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure software meets business requirements and quality standards before release.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Developers, and clients to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Maintain clear testing documentation and provide regular status updates.

Skills & Experience

- 23 years of experience as a QA Tester or Software Test Engineer.




- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience with Manual Testing, Regression Testing, Functional Testing, Integration Testing, and UAT.
- Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, ClickUp, or similar defect-tracking tools.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Solid documentation and reporting skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience testing web and mobile applications.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and API testing.
- Exposure to automation testing tools is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Experience working with Australian or international clients is preferred.
