Job Title:- Canteen Incharge

Department:- Administration / Facilities Management

Reporting To:- Canteen Supervisor / Administration Manager

Job Purpose

To supervise, coordinate, and manage daily canteen operations while ensuring uninterrupted food services, adherence to hygiene and food safety standards, cost-effective resource utilization, and high levels of employee satisfaction. The role is responsible for maintaining operational efficiency, inventory control, regulatory compliance, and service excellence within the canteen.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Food Production, Catering, or related discipline.

Experience

- 2 to 5 years of experience in canteen, catering, hospitality, food service,



or industrial kitchen operations.
- Experience in handling large-volume food service operations preferred.

Key Responsibility Areas

Ensure quality food services and hygiene standards.
Maintain inventory accuracy and control operating costs.
Coordinate with internal departments for operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.
Address employee concerns and ensure service excellence.
Reduce food wastage and improve resource utilization.
Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
