Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Manager / Senior Manager – US & Canada Payroll to lead end-to-end payroll operations across the US and Canada. The ideal candidate should have strong payroll domain expertise, people management experience, and a proven track record in payroll compliance, audits, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing across multiple regions.
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll runs, including regular, off-cycle, and adjustment payrolls.
- Monitor payroll transactions for accuracy and compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Maintain payroll records for audits, tax filings, deductions, and regulatory reporting.
- Support audits by providing necessary payroll documentation.
- Resolve complex payroll discrepancies, escalations, and employee inquiries.
- Collaborate with HR, Benefits,



and Client Services teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and drive operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain payroll SOPs and compliance controls.
- Generate payroll performance and compliance reports.
- Lead, mentor, and manage payroll team members to ensure service excellence and timely delivery.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of payroll experience with mandatory exposure to both US and Canada Payroll.
- Proven experience managing and leading payroll teams.
- Solid understanding of payroll legislation, tax regulations, compliance, audits, and reporting.
- Experience with Payroll Processing Platforms, Time & Attendance Systems, Payroll Compliance & Tax Filing Software, ERP systems (Oracle/MSD), Power BI, and MS Excel.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
