1) Plan, direct, orcoordinate gaming operations in a casino. May formulate house rules .
1. Train recent workers or evaluate their performance.
2. Resolve customer complaints regarding problems such as payout errors.
3. Monitor staffing levels to ensure that games and tables are adequately staffed for each shift, arranging for staff rotations and breaks and locating substitute employees as necessary.
4. Explain and interpret house rules, such as game rules or betting limits.
5. Prepare work schedules and station arrangements and keep attendance records.
6. Maintain familiarity with all games used at a facility, as well as strategies or tricks employed in those games.
7. Direct the distribution of complimentary hotel rooms, meals, or other discounts or free items given to players, based on their length of play and betting totals.
8. Interview and hire workers.
9. Establish policies on issues such as the type of gambling offered and the odds, the extension of credit, or the serving of food and beverages.
10. Remove suspected cheaters, such as card counters or other players who may have systems that shift the odds of winning to their favor.
11. Circulate among gaming tables to ensure that operations are conducted properly, that dealers follow house rules, or that players are not cheating.
12. Review operational expenses, budget estimates, betting accounts, or collection reports for accuracy.
13. Track supplies of money to tables and perform any required paperwork.
14. Direct the compilation of summary sheets that show wager amounts and payoffs for races or events.
15. Set and maintain a bank and table limit for each game.
16. Record, collect, or pay off bets, issuing receipts as necessary.
17. Notify board attendants of table vacancies so that waiting patrons can play.
18. Provide outstanding customer service to guests and all other employees by exceeding our mission statement to be the premier entertainment experience in the Casino.
19. Assign dealers to tables, issues rating sheets.
20. Record number of games played and monitors transactions.
21. Maintain integrity of games directly and through subordinates.
22. Ensure player ratings are completed accurately, consistently, and according to established guidelines.
23. Analyze and issue player complimentary requests per established guidelines.
24. Monitor performance of staff ensuring compliance with policies and procedures and internal controls.
25. Distribute announcements of Casino activities and table game promotions and helps to distribute tournament prizes.
26. Provide gaming instructions to guests when requested or as assigned in order to encourage gaming activity.
27. Demonstrate superior customer service skills by displaying outlined service behaviors at all times.
28. Maintain an upbeat and positive attitude, create positive energy with gestures and sustain enthusiasm from one interaction to the next.
29. Initiate courteous and friendly conversations with guests.
30. Arbitrate customer disputes and overpayments. Analyzes situation and makes decision based on circumstances in the absence of the Shift Manager. Completes required form when necessary.
31. Ensure that administrative and accountability reports designed by management are completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.
32. Maintain integrity of all casino promotions as they pertain to Table Games.
33. Assure that Table Games area looks neat, clean, organized and inviting.
34. Informed of daily information; build relationships by greeting guests with a warm, friendly verbal greeting.
35. Keep Shift Manager informed of activities and incidents during shift.
36. Ensure compliance with all Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) as well as all other Standards.
37. Present a positive image of the Casino to its guests and vendors and to assist them as required.
38. Must follow all safety policies and procedures and attend all scheduled safety meetings and training as a condition of employment.
39. Possess a thorough working knowledge of all casino games.
40. Documented strong knowledge of department policies and procedures including those pertaining to Federal and Regulatory laws and guidelines.
41. Exercise appropriate discretion in identifying situations that require management attention.
42. Act as a role model; always present oneself as a credit to Casino.
43. Promote Total Rewards programs and card membership.
44. Provide a warm farewell and thanks guests for visiting.
45. Delight our guests with outstanding service.
46. Adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner.
47. Responsible for keeping assigned section safe and orderly.
48. Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
