Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Associate DMC Contracting to manage supplier relationships and negotiate commercial agreements with Destination Management Companies (DMCs), hotels, transfer providers, sightseeing operators, and other travel partners. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in contracting, rate negotiation, supplier management, and inventory procurement within the travel industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, onboard, and maintain relationships with DMCs and travel suppliers across domestic and international destinations.
- Negotiate competitive commercial contracts, rates, payment terms, and service-level agreements with suppliers.
- Procure hotel, transfer, sightseeing, visa, cruise, and holiday package inventory from DMC partners.
- Ensure timely renewal and execution of supplier agreements and contracts.
- Compare supplier quotations and secure the most competitive pricing while maintaining service quality.
- Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Product, and Finance teams for supplier requirements and contract implementation.




- Maintain an updated database of supplier contracts, rates, inclusions, exclusions, and validity periods.
- Monitor supplier performance, service quality, and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Resolve supplier-related issues, including operational escalations, payment disputes, and service discrepancies.
- Conduct regular market research to identify recent destinations, products, and supplier opportunities.
- Analyse procurement costs and recommend strategies to improve margins and profitability.
- Ensure all negotiated rates and inventory are accurately updated in internal systems.
- Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, and supplier performance dashboards for management.
- Maintain confidentiality of commercial agreements and pricing information.

Required Skills

- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good understanding of international and domestic travel products.
- Knowledge of DMC contracting and supplier procurement processes.
- Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Analysis).
- Ability to manage multiple suppliers and deadlines efficiently.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in DMC Contracting, Travel Procurement, or Supplier Management within an OTA, Tour Operator, DMC, or Travel Company.

Preferred Experience

- Experience working with global DMCs and hotel suppliers.
- Familiarity with GDS, travel booking platforms, or CRM/ERP systems.
- Existing network of domestic and international travel suppliers is an added advantage.
