GK & Sons Automobiles Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to manage vehicle placement and transportation planning efficiently. The ideal candidate should have experience in arranging vehicles through transporters, coordinating dispatches, and securing return loads (back haul) so that vehicles do not travel empty, helping optimize transportation costs and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Arrangement

- Arrange trucks and commercial vehicles through transporters as per dispatch requirements.
- Ensure timely placement of vehicles at warehouse and customer locations.

Backhaul Planning

- Arrange return loads for vehicles to minimize empty trips.
- Coordinate with transporters and clients to maximize vehicle utilization.

Transporter Coordination

- Build and maintain robust relationships with transporters.
- Negotiate freight rates and ensure cost-effective transportation.

Dispatch & Route Planning

- Coordinate vehicle dispatches based on delivery schedules.
- Ensure smooth loading and unloading operations.

Vehicle Tracking

- Monitor vehicle movement until delivery.
- Follow up on delays, breakdowns, and transit issues.

Documentation

- Handle Lorry Receipts (LR), E-Way Bills, PODs, invoices, and other transport documents.




- Maintain logistics reports and transporter records.

Cost Optimization

- Reduce logistics costs through effective planning and transporter management.
- Improve fleet utilization by ensuring return load availability.

Eligibility CriteriaEducation

- Graduation in any discipline.
- Preference for candidates with qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.

Experience

- 2–3 years of experience in Logistics Coordination, Transport Operations, or Fleet Management.
- Experience in the Automobile, Transport, Logistics, or FMCG industry is preferred.

Required Skills

- Strong transporter network and market knowledge.
- Ability to arrange vehicles across different locations.
- Experience in backhaul/return load planning.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and logistics operations.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet dispatch timelines.
