The Athletics Teacher is responsible for planning and conducting athletics training sessions, promoting physical fitness, and preparing students for inter-school and district-level competitions. The coach ensures a safe, disciplined, and motivating workplace while helping students develop athletic skills and sportsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and conduct athletics training sessions for students.

Teach track and field events, including running, jumping, and throwing disciplines.

Identify and nurture talented athletes.

Prepare students for school, inter-school, district, and state-level competitions.

Develop fitness, endurance, agility, speed, and coordination through structured training.

Ensure the safety of students during practice and competitions.

Maintain athletics equipment and report any maintenance requirements.

Monitor students' progress and maintain performance records.





Encourage discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Coordinate with school management for sports events and athletics meets.

Assist in organizing annual sports day and other physical education activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed./M.P.Ed.) or equivalent qualification.

Certification or specialization in Athletics is preferred.

Prior coaching or teaching experience is an advantage.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Passion for sports, fitness, and student development.

Ability to motivate and mentor students of different age groups.
