## Job Summary

The Plumbing Draftsman will be responsible for preparing detailed plumbing, drainage and water supply shop drawings, coordination drawings and as-built drawings for MEP projects. The candidate must have robust technical knowledge of plumbing systems and UAE construction practices.

## Key Responsibilities

* Prepare shop drawings for domestic water supply, hot water, drainage, stormwater, irrigation and condensate drainage systems.

* Prepare plumbing layouts, riser diagrams, schematics, sections and installation details.

* Develop pump room, water tank, drainage room and plant room layouts.

* Prepare coordinated drawings with HVAC, electrical, fire protection, architectural and structural services.

* Review contract drawings, specifications, BOQ, equipment schedules and consultant requirements.

* Prepare builder’s work drawings, sleeve layouts, core-cutting drawings and trench details.

* Coordinate pipe routing, levels, slopes, invert levels and equipment connections.

* Incorporate consultant comments and site modifications into revised drawings.





* Prepare as-built drawings based on actual site installations.

* Ensure drawings comply with UAE authority requirements, local plumbing codes and project specifications.

* Coordinate with plumbing engineers, site engineers, BIM modellers, subcontractors and suppliers.

* Maintain drawing registers, revision history and submission records.

## Qualifications and Skills

* Diploma or ITI qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing or Drafting.

* Minimum 8–10 years of experience as a Plumbing Draftsman, preferably in the UAE.

* Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.

* Working knowledge of Revit MEP is preferred.

* Good understanding of water supply, drainage, stormwater and pump systems.

* Knowledge of pipe sizing, drainage slopes, invert levels and installation standards.

* Familiarity with local authority and municipality requirements.

* Ability to interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings.

* Strong coordination, communication and time-management skills.

Pay: ₹52,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
