Kaimen Steel is a specialized steel trading company focused on special steels for the automotive, oil & gas, and industrial sectors. We have an active trading presence across China, India, South Asia, Thailand, Malaysia, and Taiwan.

We are currently looking to hire a Junior Steel Trader based in Bangalore, India.

Key Responsibilities

* Actively identify and develop new customers within the steel segments where Kaimen Steel is already present.

* Explore and develop new steel product segments and market opportunities beyond our current portfolio.

* Build new business through industry networking, participation in trade events, cold calling, online research, and the use of company databases, software tools, and market publications.

* Monitor market trends, geopolitical developments, and steel trade flows/exchanges across countries to identify commercial opportunities.

* Support senior traders with order handling, sourcing, logistics coordination, and documentation.

* Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, with the objective of generating regular monthly business.

Candidate Profile





* Ideally holds a degree or background in Metallurgical Engineering or a related field.

* Fluent in English. Knowledge of either Bangla, Sinhala or Tamil would be an advantage.

* Previous experience in steel trading, steel manufacturing, or international trade will be a plus.

* Solid interest in building a long-term career in sales and trading.

* Candidates currently based in Bangalore will be given preference.
