Accountant – E-commerce Industry

Job Title: Accountant (E-commerce)

Job Location: Noida, Sector 88, Phase 2

Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month (Based on interview and experience)

Experience Required: 2–5 years in Accounting within the E-commerce industry

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Accountant with a solid understanding of e-commerce accounting processes. The ideal candidate should have experience handling marketplace reconciliations, GST compliance, vendor payments, and day-to-day accounting operations. Candidates with prior experience in an e-commerce company will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Record daily accounting transactions, including sales invoices, purchase invoices, credit notes, and expense vouchers.
- Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile marketplace and payment gateway settlements with the general ledger.
- Prepare GST-related accounting entries and assist in GST return filing, GST reconciliation, and e-invoicing.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), including vendor payments and customer follow-ups.
- Support month-end closing activities by preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and reports.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation for audits.
- Coordinate with internal teams and marketplace partners to resolve accounting queries.




- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of accounting experience in the E-commerce industry.
- Good knowledge of GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, and accounting principles.
- Experience with accounting software such as Tally, Busy, Zoho Books, or ERP systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience working with online marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Myntra, or similar platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
