Student Assessment & Intervention

- Identify students requiring special educational support through observations, assessments, teacher referrals, and parent interactions.
- Conduct educational assessments and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) based on students' needs.
- Implement individualized intervention programmes to improve learning outcomes.
- Regularly monitor, document, and evaluate students' progress.
- Modify teaching strategies and learning materials according to each student's abilities and learning style.

Classroom Support

- Support students individually or in small groups within or outside the classroom.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure inclusive teaching practices.
- Recommend appropriate classroom accommodations and assessment modifications.
- Assist teachers in implementing differentiated instruction strategies.

Parent Collaboration

- Conduct regular meetings with parents to discuss student progress and intervention plans.
- Provide guidance to parents regarding home-based support strategies.
- Maintain positive and skilled communication with families.

Collaboration with School Staff

- Work closely with school counsellors, psychologists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other professionals whenever required.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings regarding student development.
- Provide training and awareness sessions for teachers on inclusive education and learning disabilities.

Documentation & Compliance

- Maintain accurate records of assessments, intervention plans, progress reports, case notes,



and confidential student information.
- Prepare reports required by the school management and educational authorities.
- Ensure confidentiality of all student records and information.

Behavioural & Social Development

- Support students in developing social, emotional, behavioural, and life skills.
- Assist in behaviour management planning and implementation.
- Promote positive self-esteem and independent learning among students.

School Responsibilities

- Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher meetings, workshops, and professional development programmes.
- Assist in creating an inclusive school environment.
- Perform additional duties assigned by the Principal in the interest of the school.

QualificationsEssential

- Bachelor's Degree in Special Education (B.Ed. Special Education) or
- Master's Degree in Special Education (M.Ed. Special Education) from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the appropriate regulatory authority, wherever applicable.
- Qualification in accordance with applicable Government of India, State Government, and Board norms.

Preferred

- Experience working in CBSE, ICSE, State Board, or inclusive schools.
- Certification in Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disability, ADHD, or related areas.
- Knowledge of assistive technologies and inclusive teaching practices.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
