Job Title: OT (Operation Theatre) ManagerJob Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated OT Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Operation Theatre complex. The candidate will ensure efficient OT scheduling, compliance with NABH standards, infection control practices, optimal utilization of resources, and delivery of safe, high-quality surgical services.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the overall functioning of the Operation Theatre and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Plan and coordinate OT schedules in consultation with surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing teams.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection prevention and control protocols, sterilization standards, and patient safety guidelines.
- Supervise OT nursing staff, technicians, housekeeping, and support personnel.
- Monitor the availability and maintenance of surgical instruments, equipment, implants, and consumables.
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards, hospital policies, and statutory requirements.
- Conduct staff training, performance evaluations, and competency assessments.
- Coordinate with Biomedical, CSSD, Maintenance, Pharmacy, and other departments for seamless OT operations.
- Maintain OT records, reports, inventory, and quality indicators.
- Participate in audits,



quality improvement initiatives, incident investigations, and corrective actions.

Qualification

- B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing / Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) or equivalent.
- Certification in OT Management or Hospital Administration is preferred.

Experience

- Minimum 8–10 years of Operation Theatre experience, including 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role in a multi-specialty hospital.
