About Group 8A

Group 8A is a US-based Digital Marketing Agency specializing in eCommerce growth. We help brands scale through Paid Media, SEO, Email Marketing, CRO, and Shopify development. We are looking for an experienced Shopify Developer who understands both eCommerce and digital marketing to build high-performing online stores.

Job Responsibilities

- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify & Shopify Plus stores.
- Build custom Shopify themes and modify existing themes based on business requirements.
- Develop custom features using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Shopify APIs.
- Optimize website speed, Core Web Vitals, and overall store performance.
- Integrate third-party applications, payment gateways, shipping solutions, and ERP/CRM systems.
- Work closely with the Paid Media, SEO, Email Marketing, and Design teams to improve website performance and conversions.
- Implement tracking solutions such as Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, and other marketing pixels.
- Develop landing pages optimized for paid advertising campaigns.
- Troubleshoot bugs and ensure cross-browser and mobile responsiveness.
- Manage Shopify app integrations and custom API development.
- Ensure websites follow SEO best practices and technical SEO standards.
- Collaborate with project managers to deliver projects on time.

Required Skills

- 5–7 years of experience in Shopify Development.
- Strong expertise in Shopify & Shopify Plus.
- Excellent knowledge of Liquid,



HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
- Experience with Shopify Theme Development and Custom Theme Creation.
- Strong understanding of Shopify APIs, GraphQL, and REST APIs.
- Experience integrating third-party applications and APIs.
- Good understanding of Git/GitHub version control.
- Experience with page builders like PageFly, Shogun, GemPages, etc.
- Knowledge of responsive web development and browser compatibility.
- Experience working with eCommerce brands.

Preferred Experience

- Experience working in a Digital Marketing Agency.
- Hands-on experience supporting multiple Shopify stores.
- Understanding of SEO, CRO, Paid Media, and Email Marketing requirements.
- Experience implementing GA4, GTM, Meta Pixel, Conversion API (CAPI), and other marketing tools.
- Experience with Klaviyo integration and email automation setup.
- Knowledge of A/B testing and landing page optimization.
- Familiarity with Shopify Functions, Shopify Flow, and Shopify Hydrogen is a plus.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Experience working with international clients is preferred.
