Job Title: Service Engineer – Gas Analyzer & Gas Monitoring systems
Manufacturing Department: Service & After-Sales Support
Location: Factory / Customer Sites (Pan-India travel as required)
Reporting To: Service Manager / Technical Head
Job Summary: The Service Engineer will be responsible for installation, commissioning, calibration, troubleshooting, and after-sales support of gas analyzers and gas detection systems manufactured by the company. The role involves on-site customer support, documentation, coordination with internal teams, and ensuring high customer satisfaction through timely and effective service.Key
Responsibilities Installation, commissioning, and start-up of gas analyzers and gas detection systems at customer sites.
Calibration, validation, and performance testing of analyzers as per standard procedures.
Troubleshooting and rectification of electrical, electronic, sensor, and communication-related issues.
Routine preventive maintenance and breakdown service at customer locations.
Handling customer complaints and providing first-level technical support.
Preparation and maintenance of service-related documents such as:o Service reportso Calibration certificateso Installation & commissioning reportso Site visit records
Coordination with production, quality, and design teams for technical issues and improvements.
Assistance to customers for operation, maintenance, and basic training on gas analyzers. Support in FAT, SAT, and inspections when required.
Maintain service logs and records in Excel or company ERP.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies while working in office.
Technical Skills & Knowledge Basic knowledge of gas analyzers, gas detectors, and sensor technologies (O₂, CO, H₂S, Cl₂, H₂, etc.).
Understanding of:o 4–20 mA signalso Modbus RS-485 communicatio no Basic PLC/DCS interfacing Ability to read and understand GA drawings, electrical wiring diagrams, and manuals. Basic computer skills: MS Excel, MS Word, email communication. Familiarity with calibration gases and safety practices.
Qualification Diploma / BE / B. Tech in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical, or related field.
Experience 1–5 years of experience in service, maintenance, or commissioning of industrial instruments.
Experience in gas analyzer or process instrumentation industry will be preferred.Personal Attributes

Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites.

Field-based role with frequent site visits.
May require working at industrial plants, refineries, power plants, or hazardous areas with proper safety measures.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
