Role Overview

We are looking for a enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior PPC Engineer (0–1 year experience) to join our manufacturing team at Sinhagad Road, Pune. In this role, you will bridge the gap between sales demand and shop-floor execution. You will utilize our ERP system to translate sales forecasts into realistic production schedules, balance material and capacity constraints, and track daily progress to ensure the on-time delivery of our power electronics products used in EV and drone applications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Planning & ERP Management

* Sales-to-Production Alignment: Translate sales team inputs, demand forecasts, and customer orders into a Master Production Schedule (MPS) using the ERP system.

* Material Requirement Planning (MRP): Run MRP cycles to track raw material requirements (PCBs, SMT components, power devices, magnetics, enclosures) and coordinate with Procurement to ensure line continuity.

* Capacity & Work Center Planning: Assist in analyzing assembly line capacity (SMT lines, DIP assembly, testing stations) to eliminate bottlenecks and optimize throughput.

2. Execution Monitoring & Timeline Control

* Shop-Floor Tracking: Daily monitoring of shop-floor output against planned targets to guarantee on-time in-full (OTIF) delivery.

* Bottleneck & Variance Analysis: Identify production delays early (component shortages, downtime, yield drops) and report variances to senior management for quick resolution.

* Work Order Management: Generate, release, and monitor work orders across assembly lines, functional testing, and final quality sign-offs.

3. Cross-Functional Coordination

* Sales & Logistics:



Keep the sales team updated on dispatch schedules and delivery timelines.

* Quality & Engineering: Work with Quality Control and NPI teams to smoothly transition new power electronics designs into routine production.

* Store & Inventory: Coordinate with store teams for accurate real-time inventory updates within the ERP to prevent stock-outs or overstocking.

4. KPI Tracking & Reporting

* Track and log key manufacturing metrics including Plan vs. Actual Output, Schedule Adherence, and Work-in-Progress (WIP) status.

Experience | 0 to 1 year of experience in PPC or manufacturing. (Fresh graduates with strong internship/academic project experience in electronics manufacturing are encouraged to apply). |

ERP Knowledge | Basic understanding or working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, SAP, Oracle, or custom ERP tools) for MRP, BOM management, and work order creation. |

Technical Knowledge | Basic understanding of power electronics products and manufacturing steps (SMT, DIP assembly, testing, potting/conformal coating). |

Analytical Skills | Working knowledge of MS Excel for data entry, capacity tracking, and simple reporting. |
