Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Procurement & Price Analysis

- Oversee procurement planning, high-value purchases, and vendor negotiations.
- Monitor global/domestic market trends, TOCOM futures, and indexed prices to optimize purchase timing.
- Manage stock levels, evaluate shelf life and indents, and coordinate with production to ensure zero disruption.
- Drive vendor development, alternate sourcing for critical materials, and cost-optimization initiatives.

2. Sourcing & Category Management

- Raw Materials: Procurement of Natural/Synthetic/Reclaim Rubber, Chemicals, Carbon, Nylon, Bead Wire, and Metal Scrap.
- Engineering & Plant Needs: Procurement of Stores, Spares, Moulds (including localization), Project items, AMCs, Canteen, Water Tankers, and Labor contracts (Hamalies).
- Packaging & Marketing: Sourcing of labels, valves, packaging materials, advertising, and business promotion items.

3. Imports, Banking & Trade Compliance

- Oversee import orders, LC terms/documentation, BG renewals, usance/credit period negotiation, and trade payments.
- Manage Advance Licenses, EPCG licenses, EEFC transfers, and trade finance/banking workflows.
- Handle supplier contract disputes, penalty enforcement, and transit insurance/claims management.

4. Customs & Logistics (Inbound & Outbound)

- Coordinate with CHAs, shipping liners,



and transport vendors for swift clearance and movement (Port to ICD Hyderabad to Site).
- Manage demurrage, freight disputes, vehicle allocations, waybills, and transit insurance claims.
- Onboard and evaluate transporters for outbound logistics.

5. Process Improvement & Governance

- Maintain ISO documentation, vendor ratings, and regulatory filings (e.g., Rubber Board returns).
- Oversee ERP/Internal system tasks (Grapevine, SPIC invoice clearing, PO/Indent closures, MRN timelines).
- Coordinate scrap disposal, non-moving inventory liquidation, and system/process enhancements with executive leadership.

Candidate Profile & Requirements

- Experience: 8–12+ years of end-to-end purchasing, imports, and logistics experience (preferably in Manufacturing, Rubber/Tyre, Chemical, or Heavy Engineering industries).
- Core Competencies: Strategic Sourcing, Global Import/Export Laws, Freight & Logistics Management, LC & Trade Finance, Contract Negotiation, and Vendor Management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (Grapevine/SAP/Oracle), MS office
