Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Design Engineer with 3–7 years of experience in designing HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, and residential projects. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in HVAC design principles and be proficient in Revit and AutoCAD for preparing detailed engineering drawings, layouts, and coordinated BIM models.

Key Responsibilities

Design HVAC systems including cooling, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning for commercial, industrial, and residential projects.

Prepare HVAC design drawings, GFC, layouts, schematics, and detailed engineering documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.

Perform HVAC load calculations, equipment selection, duct sizing, and piping design.

Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), material take-offs, and technical specifications.

Develop coordinated BIM models and ensure clash-free designs with other disciplines.

Review project requirements, specifications, and client standards to ensure design compliance.

Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and site execution teams.

Prepare shop drawings, tender drawings, and as-built drawings as required.

Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.

Provide technical support to project execution teams during installation and commissioning.

Participate in design review meetings and address consultant or client comments.

Technical Skills Required





Robust knowledge of HVAC system design and engineering.

Proficiency in Revit (MEP) and AutoCAD.

Knowledge of HVAC load calculations and equipment selection.

Experience in ducting, chilled water piping, refrigerant piping, and ventilation systems.

Understanding of Air/Water cooled Chiller, VAM, VRF/VRV Systems, Package Units, AHU, FCU, CFU, TFA, Humidifier, De-humidifier, Heater, Pumps, Airwasher, Exhaust Systems, and Air Distribution Systems etc.

Knowledge of HVAC codes, standards, and industry best practices.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Certification in Revit MEP or AutoCAD will be an added advantage.

Experience

3–7 years of experience in HVAC design engineering.

Experience in commercial, industrial, healthcare, hospitality, Refinery, Power Sector and residential projects will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Hands-on experience in designing complete HVAC systems.

Solid coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.

Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality engineering designs.

Familiarity with BIM workflows and project coordination.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
