Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a SOC 2 Compliance Readiness Consultant to support SOC 2 Type II readiness engagements.

This individual will assess compliance programs, identify control gaps, review policies and audit evidence, conduct mock audits, and provide readiness recommendations prior to formal CPA attestation.

The consultant will act as an independent advisor and will not perform technical remediation.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of GRC, audit, or compliance experience, 3+ years supporting SOC 2 assessments, strong knowledge of AICPA Trust Services Criteria, and certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, CPA, or CRISC.

This is a fully remote position based in India with a target pay rate of $15 to $18/hr.

Skills and Requirements
7+ years of GRC, Audit, Compliance, or Information Security experience
3+ years of SOC 2 Type I/II readiness and audit support experience
Solid knowledge of AICPA Trust Services Criteria
Experience conducting gap assessments, control reviews, and mock audits
Experience working with external auditors and compliance stakeholders
CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CPA, or similar certification preferred
Ability to provide compliance recommendations while remaining independent from remediation activities
