We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Material Testing Laboratory. The candidate will be responsible for conducting mechanical testing of materials (metals, cement, aggregates, steel, welds, concrete, or other construction/industrial materials — customize based on your lab's focus), ensuring accurate results, and maintaining compliance with relevant testing standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct mechanical testing of materials such as tensile, compression, bend, impact, hardness, shear, and fatigue tests as per IS/ASTM/BIS/ISO standards.
- Operate and calibrate testing equipment such as Universal Testing Machines (UTM), hardness testers, impact testing machines, compression testing machines, and CTM (Compression Testing Machine).
- Prepare test specimens as per specified dimensions and standards.




- Record test data accurately and prepare detailed test reports/certificates.
- Ensure proper functioning, maintenance, and periodic calibration of mechanical testing equipment.
- Follow safety protocols while handling testing equipment and samples.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams regarding test requirements, sample submission, and result reporting.

Required Qualifications

- B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
- Basic understanding of material properties and mechanical testing principles.
- Willingness to learn and work with lab testing equipment (freshers with solid fundamentals may also apply, depending on your requirement).

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
