Role description

Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer

Key Responsibilities

SFCC Development

- Develop and maintain SFCC storefront features using SFRA, Controllers, ISML, and Pipelines
- Customize and extend SFCC capabilities to meet business requirements
- Build reusable and maintainable frontend and backend components

Integrations & APIs

- Implement integrations using OCAPI / SCAPI and Service Framework
- Integrate SFCC with third-party systems such as payments, tax, OMS, and CMS
- Collaborate with backend teams to troubleshoot integration issues

Frontend & Experience

- Develop responsive UI components using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and CSS / SASS
- Ensure performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
- Work closely with UX and design teams to deliver seamless customer experiences

Quality, Support & Collaboration

- Debug and resolve production issues in high-availability eCommerce environments
- Participate in code reviews, QA, and UAT support
- Document solutions and technical designs in Jira and Confluence




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery

Required Skills & Experience

- 3–5 years of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) development experience
- 5+ years of overall eCommerce development experience
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS / SASS
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React or similar)
- Experience working in Agile delivery models
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills

Technical Skills

- Robust understanding of SFCC core concepts and features
- SFCC SFRA & Controllers Framework
- Pipelines & ISML templates
- Service Framework
- OCAPI / SCAPI
- PDX
- Mustache templates
- JavaScript (React, etc.)

Education Background

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field with OR equivalent professional experience.

Work Timings:

- US Central Time – 5 AM to 2PM (3:30 PM to 1:30 AM IST)
