- Senior Architect – Oil & Gas / Hydrocarbon EPC

Location: Vadodara

Overview:

The Senior Architect will produce and coordinate architectural engineering deliverables for Oil & Gas / Hydrocarbon EPC projects, ensuring compliance with ITB/FEED, client requirements, and applicable Middle East regulations. The role is responsible for preparing coordinated Revit-based models and drawings, developing MTO/BOQ, supporting interdisciplinary coordination, and closing client/PMC comments. Experience with blast/fire-rated requirements is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

- Study and implement ITB documents, FEED drawings, project design basis, and client specifications.

- Develop architectural design deliverables (plans, sections, elevations, details, schedules) aligned with project standards.

- Work on buildings requiring blast-resistant/blast-rated and fire-rated performance criteria and detailing.

- Develop and maintain Revit models; extract coordinated drawing packages per project standards.

- Review/coordinate 3D models and drawings; ensure clarity, completeness, and constructability.

- Coordinate with Civil/Structural, MEP, E&I; and other disciplines to resolve clashes and interface issues.

- Participate in IDC, manage comment logs,



and ensure timely closure of review comments.

- Prepare MTO/BOQ for architectural/building works; support internal checks and package-wise quantity take-offs.

- Interface with Client/PMC during design reviews; respond to queries and close comments.

Qualifications

- B.Arch (mandatory).

- 5–7 years of experience in Oil & Gas / Hydrocarbon EPC projects (preferred).

- Middle East project experience (Preferred).

- Blast-resistant/blast-rated and fire-rated architectural requirements

- Proven ability to deliver coordinated IFC/GFC documentation with multidisciplinary teams.

Skills

- Technical: Industrial architectural detailing, constructability awareness, interface detailing with MEP/Structural, documentation quality.

- Specialized: Working knowledge of blast/fire-rated requirements and hazardous area-driven constraints.

- Tools: Revit (solid), AutoCAD; structured model/drawing coordination and revision control.

- Delivery: Comment management, schedule-driven deliverable planning, MTO/BOQ preparation, quality checks.

- Communication: Effective coordination with Client/PMC and internal/execution stakeholders.
