About the Role

Aayuritz Phytonutrients Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for our manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate should have experience in sourcing raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables while ensuring timely procurement, cost optimization, and uninterrupted production operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Procure raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, and engineering items as per production requirements.
- Source and develop reliable vendors while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings.
- Generate Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely follow-up until material receipt.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality, Stores, and Accounts departments for procurement planning.
- Compare quotations, prepare cost analysis, and recommend the most suitable suppliers.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment to avoid stock shortages.
- Ensure purchased materials meet company quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor database,



purchase reports, and documentation.
- Resolve supplier-related issues regarding quality, quantity, delivery, and invoices.
- Support vendor audits and ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
- Track market trends and identify opportunities for cost reduction and alternate sourcing. (Indeed)

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in procurement within Nutraceutical, Pharmaceutical, Ayurvedic, Food Manufacturing, or FMCG industries.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and inventory planning.
- Experience working with ERP software and MS Excel.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. (SimplyHired)
