Job Title : Instrument & Control Junior Supervisor
Location: Boisar, Maharashtra
Qualification: Diploma/ BE Instrument & Control Engineering

Key Responsibilities
1. Plant Maintenance & Troubleshooting

- Manage routine, breakdown, and preventive maintenance of all field instruments, control systems, and automation networks across continuous and batch process plant sections.
- Troubleshoot and calibrate field instruments, including control valves, transmitters (pressure, level, temperature, flow), mass flow meters, control valves, and analytical instruments (gas detectors, pH meters, analyzers).
- Maintain and optimize PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), DCS (Distributed Control System), and SCADA architectures to ensure minimal process downtime.

2. Process Safety & Compliance (SIS/SIL)

- Ensure 100% reliability of Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), interlocks, and emergency shutdown (ESD) systems critical for hazardous chemical handling.
- Maintain loop diagrams, logic charts, and interlocking documentation in compliance with safety audits and regulatory norms.




- Oversee fire and gas detection systems across the plant premises to ensure maximum worker and environmental safety.

3. Calibration & Documentation

- Execute periodic calibration loops and maintain flawless documentation, history cards, and calibration logs for ISO audits and safety inspections.
- Manage instrumentation inventory, including critical spares, test equipment, and vendor catalogs, ensuring optimized spare parts management.

4. Projects & Modifying Control Systems

- Assist in the execution of plant modifications, capacity expansions, or hardware upgrades.
- Handle loop checking, commissioning, and site acceptance testing (SAT) for newly installed systems.
- Collaborate with production and mechanical teams to carry out Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring technical abnormalities.
