Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of Linux systems, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure automation. You will work closely with senior DevOps engineers and development teams to help deploy, monitor, and maintain applications and infrastructure.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Assist in managing Linux servers and cloud infrastructure.
- Support application deployments across development, staging, and production environments.
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor server health, application performance, and system availability.
- Assist in configuring web servers such as Apache and Nginx.
- Manage Docker containers and Docker Compose environments.
- Work with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Help maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
- Assist in configuring monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, or Loki.
- Troubleshoot deployment, networking, and server-related issues.
- Perform routine server maintenance, backups, and security updates.
- Collaborate with developers to improve deployment processes and system reliability.
- Document infrastructure, deployment procedures, and operational processes.

Required Skills
Operating Systems

- Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS)




- Basic Shell/Bash scripting

Cloud Platforms

- AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, CloudWatch), Digital Ocean
- Basic knowledge of Azure or GCP is a plus

DevOps Tools

- Git
- GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket
- Jenkins or GitHub Actions
- Docker
- Docker Compose

Web Servers

- Apache
- Nginx

Monitoring

- Grafana
- Prometheus
- Basic logging concepts

Infrastructure

- Basic networking knowledge (DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL, TCP/IP)

Databases

- MySQL/PostgreSQL (Basic administration and backup)

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Equivalent practical experience is also considered.
