Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Billing Executive – IPD Billing to manage inpatient billing operations, ensure accurate charge capture, timely bill generation, insurance coordination, and compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of hospital billing procedures, insurance processes, and excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle complete IPD (In-Patient Department) billing cycle from admission to discharge.
- Ensure accurate charge entry for room rent, procedures, investigations, pharmacy, implants, and consultant fees.
- Coordinate with nursing stations, consultants, pharmacy, and other departments for bill verification.
- Process interim and final bills in a timely manner.
- Manage insurance (cashless & reimbursement) billing, TPA documentation, and approvals.
- Verify insurance eligibility, pre-authorizations, and discharge clearances.
- Address patient/attender billing queries and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with hospital billing policies and regulatory requirements.




- Prepare daily billing reports and MIS for management review.
- Monitor pending bills, approvals, and outstanding payments.
- Train and supervise junior billing staff (if required).

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Hospital Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in hospital IPD billing.
- Strong knowledge of hospital information systems (HIS).
- Experience handling TPA/insurance portals and documentation.
- Good understanding of medical terminology and billing codes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and billing software.
