Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Fabrication Supervisor to oversee daily fabrication activities at our Rudrapur manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising manpower, ensuring production targets are achieved, maintaining quality standards, and enforcing safety procedures while ensuring efficient shop floor operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily fabrication activities to ensure smooth production.
- Allocate work to fabricators, welders, fitters, and helpers based on production requirements.
- Ensure fabrication work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor productivity and ensure daily production targets are achieved.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Planning, and Stores departments for uninterrupted workflow.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
- Inspect fabricated components for quality and dimensional accuracy before forwarding for further processes.
- Monitor welding, cutting, grinding, drilling, and assembly activities.
- Minimize material wastage and improve production efficiency.
- Maintain daily production reports and manpower attendance records.




- Ensure preventive maintenance and proper handling of fabrication equipment.
- Enforce workplace safety, housekeeping, and company policies on the shop floor.
- Report production issues and recommend corrective actions to improve efficiency.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of fabrication processes, welding, and assembly.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and fabrication layouts.
- Knowledge of fabrication tools, machines, and measuring instruments.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Valuable problem-solving and communication abilities.
- Ability to work under production deadlines.

Qualification

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Fabrication, Production, or a related technical field.
- 2–3 years of experience as a Fabrication Supervisor or in a similar manufacturing role.
- Experience in aluminium formwork, steel fabrication, or engineering manufacturing will be preferred.
