Job Title: Junior Safety Officer
Coimbatore (Thoppampatti Pirivu) – 2 Openings
Experience: 2 to 3 Years
Qualification: M.E. – Industrial Safety (Only preferred)
Shift: Rotational (Day / Half Night / Night)
Working Days: 6 Days a Week
Compensation: 20,000 – 30,000 CTC per month (based on experience and location).
Reporting To: Safety Officer / Safety Manager
Job Purpose:
The Junior Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all statutory safety requirements
and promoting a secure working environment across the plant. The role involves active participation in safety
audits, inspections, and training programs to minimize risks and ensure adherence to the company’s health
and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:

- Implement and monitor workplace safety policies and procedures in compliance with statutory

regulations.

- Conduct routine safety inspections and audits across all departments and ensure corrective actions are

implemented.

- Identify potential hazards and recommend preventive measures to reduce workplace incidents.
- Assist in investigating accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases, and prepare detailed reports with root

cause analysis.

- Maintain and update safety documentation, records, and registers as per the Factory Act and other





applicable laws.

- Coordinate with various departments to ensure proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Organize and participate in safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for

employees and contract workers.

- Support the Fire & Safety system maintenance and ensure readiness of firefighting equipment.
- Assist in statutory compliance audits conducted by government authorities and external agencies.
- Promote a safety-first culture within the organization by encouraging reporting and proactive risk

identification.
Required Skills & Competencies:

- Strong understanding of safety laws, Factory Act, and industrial safety standards.
- Hands-on experience in conducting risk assessments, audits, and safety inspections.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to handle emergency situations effectively.
- Good documentation and report-preparation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
