- Design and develop scalable backend services and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot
- Lead microservices and event-driven architecture initiatives
- Perform code reviews and drive best engineering practices, testing, and performance optimization
- Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams for solution delivery
- Mentor developers and support Agile delivery processes
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term fixes
- Ensure security and compliance standards are followed
Requirements
- 6–8 years of Java development experience with 2+ years in a lead role
- Strong expertise in Java 8/21, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Microservices
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging platforms
- Robust knowledge of REST APIs, SQL databases, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, JUnit, and Mockito
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies and distributed systems
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
