Position: Junior Accountant
Industry: Building Materials & Scaffolding
Location: Dalhousie, Kolkata
Experience: Minimum 3 Years
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹18,000 per month
Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain daily accounting entries in Tally/ERP.
- Record purchase and sales entries accurately.
- Prepare and reconcile Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
- Generate GST-compliant tax invoices.
- Prepare E-Way Bills for dispatch of goods.
- Assist in GST data preparation and return filing.
- Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal departments for account-related matters.
- Ensure timely completion of daily accounting activities and compliance with company policies.
Required Skills
- Robust knowledge of Tally Prime/ERP and MS Excel.
- Hands-on experience in purchase, sales, BRS, GST invoices, and E-Way Bills.
- Basic understanding of GST compliance and accounting principles.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in accounting work.
Qualification
- B.Com or equivalent.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
