About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with 10–14 years of experience to lead end-to-end delivery of application and data platform projects. This is a hands-on technical leadership role – the selected candidate will not only own project planning, execution, and stakeholder management, but will also bring strong technical depth in Java / Spring Boot and contemporary data platforms to guide solution design, conduct technical reviews, and unblock engineering teams. This is a full-time, work-from-office role based in Noida.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Delivery

- Own end-to-end delivery of application and data projects – planning, estimation, scheduling, resourcing, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams of Java developers, data engineers, BI analysts, and QA across multiple workstreams.
- Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies – sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives – and ensure on-time, on-budget, quality delivery.
- Manage client and senior management relationships; provide regular status reporting, escalation management, and governance reviews.
- Define project scope, SOWs, and change requests; track milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and SLAs.
- Identify and mitigate technical and delivery risks proactively; manage issue resolution and corrective actions.

Technical Leadership

- Guide solution design for Java / Spring Boot based applications, microservices,



and REST APIs that integrate with the data platform.
- Conduct technical design and code reviews; enforce engineering best practices, coding standards, and API/integration design guidelines.
- Provide technical direction on data platform components – databases, ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses/lakehouses, and BI/reporting layers.
- Review architecture decisions, non-functional requirements (performance, security, scalability, availability), and ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
- Evaluate technologies and tools, and support effort estimation, technical proposals, and RFP responses.
- Support pre-sales activities – solutioning, client presentations, PoCs, and technical due diligence.
- Act as the technical escalation point for delivery teams; help unblock complex design and implementation challenges.

Technical Skills Required

- Java / Spring Boot (Mandatory): Strong knowledge of Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework (Spring Data, Spring Security), microservices architecture, and RESTful API design and development.
- Experience with application integration patterns, messaging (Kafka/RabbitMQ), API gateways, and performance tuning of Java applications.
- Good understanding of modern data platforms – data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse architectures.
- Hands-on background with relational and analytical databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, BigQuery, Snowflake).
- Exposure to at least one major cloud platform – GCP, AWS,



or Azure – and its application/data services.
- Familiarity with big data and lakehouse technologies – Spark, Kafka, Apache Iceberg/Delta Lake, Dremio, MinIO/S3 object storage – is a plus.
- Working knowledge of DevOps practices – Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes, Terraform.
- Understanding of BI and analytics tools – Looker, Power BI, Tableau – is an advantage.
- Proficiency with project management tools – JIRA, MS Project, Confluence – and Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong grasp of estimation techniques, software delivery lifecycle (SDLC), and quality/security compliance frameworks.

Qualifications & Certifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (B.Tech / B.E. / MCA / M.Tech / MBA).
- 10–14 years of overall IT experience, with a strong Java / Spring Boot development background and 3–5 years in technical project / delivery management roles.
- Proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade application and/or data platform projects.
- Preferred certifications: PMP / PRINCE2 / CSM / SAFe (project management); cloud certifications (GCP/AWS/Azure) are an added advantage.

Work Conditions

- Location: Noida (Work from Office – 5 days a week).
