Job Description – Accounts Executive (Construction Industry)

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Executive with 2–3 years of experience in the construction industry. The candidate will be responsible for processing site-related bills, maintaining accounting records in the ERP system, verifying labour contractor bills, and ensuring proper documentation and record management.

Key Responsibilities

- Process and record administrative and site-related bills in the ERP/accounting system.
- Verify labour contractor bills, work orders, measurement sheets, and supporting documents before passing accounting entries.
- Verify, scan, and maintain site vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents for proper record keeping.
- Perform accounting entries accurately in ERP software.
- Maintain proper documentation and digital records for audits and compliance.
- Coordinate with project sites, procurement, accounts, and other internal departments to resolve billing and documentation issues.
- Reconcile vendor and contractor accounts as required.
- Ensure timely processing of invoices and payments as per company procedures.




- Assist in monthly closing activities and preparation of MIS reports.
- Maintain accuracy and confidentiality of financial records.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of ERP Accounting Software (Tally ERP, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP).
- Understanding of construction accounting and contractor billing.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and GST-related documentation.
- Strong documentation and record management skills.
- Valuable communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Basic Formulas).
- Attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills.

Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
- Additional certification in Accounting or ERP will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 2–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Construction Industry.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Experience in handling site accounts and contractor billing.
- Familiarity with construction project documentation and ERP systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to coordinate with multiple departments.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
