We are looking for a skilled and motivated Home Automation & Home Theatre Installation and Support Technician to install, configure, and support residential automation and home theatre systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on technical skills, a customer-focused attitude, and preferably an ITI qualification in a relevant trade.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, test, and maintain home automation systems (lighting, security, CCTV, smart controls, networking, etc.)
- Install and calibrate home theatre systems including TVs, projectors, speakers, amplifiers, AV receivers, and control systems
- Perform wiring, cabling, termination, and troubleshooting (LAN, HDMI, speaker cables, power cables, etc.)
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues at customer sites
- Provide on-site and remote technical support and after-installation service
- Demonstrate system usage to customers and provide basic training
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to ensure timely project completion
- Maintain installation reports, service records, and documentation
- Follow safety standards and company installation guidelines

Required Skills & Qualifications





- ITI qualification (Electrician / Electronics / Instrumentation / Networking or related trade) – preferred
- Basic understanding of electrical systems, networking, and audio-video technologies
- Experience or knowledge of home automation platforms and smart devices (e.g., lighting control, security systems, smart home hubs)
- Familiarity with home theatre components and AV systems
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Willingness to travel to customer locations
- Basic computer and mobile app usage skills

Preferred Experience

- 1–3 years of experience in home automation, home theatre, AV, or low-voltage system installation
- Experience with structured cabling, networking, and Wi-Fi setup
- Prior customer-facing technical support experience
- Freshers with relevant technical qualification or strong interest in home automation and AV systems are also encouraged to apply
