Chemistry Faculty – IIT Foundation (Classes 8–10)Job Summary

The Chemistry IIT Foundation Faculty will teach Conceptual Chemistry for Classes VIII–X, integrating CBSE curriculum with IIT-JEE/NEET Foundation preparation. The role focuses on building robust fundamentals, analytical thinking, and early competitive exam readiness.

Key Responsibilities Academic Teaching

- Teach Chemistry concepts for Classes 8, 9 & 10.
- Deliver IIT Foundation level conceptual classes.
- Strengthen basics required for IIT-JEE & NEET preparation.
- Simplify complex concepts using practical examples.

Curriculum & Content Development

- Plan lesson schedules aligned with CBSE syllabus.
- Prepare:
- Worksheets
- Practice assignments
- Foundation-level question banks
- Integrate Olympiad and NTSE-type problems.

Assessment & Evaluation

- Conduct weekly tests and periodic assessments.
- Analyze student performance and identify learning gaps.
- Provide remedial support and enrichment sessions.

Student Mentoring

- Guide students toward competitive exam mindset.
- Encourage scientific curiosity and problem-solving ability.
- Support slow learners and nurture advanced learners.





Academic Coordination

- Work collaboratively with chemistry foundation faculty.
- Participate in academic meetings and parent interactions.
- Maintain academic records and progress reports.

Qualification Requirements

- M.Sc. Chemistry / B.Sc. Chemistry (Mandatory)
- B.Ed. (Preferred for CBSE schools)
- IIT/JEE Foundation teaching experience preferred

Experience

- Minimum 2–5 years teaching experience
- Experience handling Middle & Secondary school students

Skills Required

- Strong conceptual clarity in Chemistry
- Ability to teach fundamentals in engaging way
- Excellent communication skills
- Classroom management ability
- Experience with smart boards / digital teaching tools

Preferred Profile

- Experience in IIT Foundation / Olympiad training
- CBSE school background
- Student mentoring experience

Work Schedule

- Regular school hours
- Additional foundation or doubt-clearing sessions if required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
