Job Description

We are seeking an independent advocate/counsel having practical experience in appearing and arguing before the High Court, District Courts, Tribunals, and other legal forums.

Candidates based in Mumbai, or those willing to regularly appear in Mumbai courts, may apply. Advocates with around 2–3 years or more of practical litigation experience would be preferred.

Role

The role involves court appearaning and arguing matters independently in High Court, lower courts and procedural support on a professional assignment basis.

The main focus is to engage advocates who have experience in arguing matters independently and are capable of handling assigned matters with responsibility, subject to the nature of the case, briefing, and mutual understanding.

Advocates practicing in criminal law, civil litigation, commercial disputes and allied litigation practice areas may share their details.

Preferred Profile

The ideal candidate should have:





- Valid Bar Council enrolment;
- 2-3 years of practical experience in appearing and arguing before the High Court and District Courts;
- Experience in handling matters independently;
- Good understanding of court procedure and litigation practice;
- Ability to read case papers, prepare arguments, and assist in strategy;
- Good drafting, communication, and coordination skills;
- Professional approach towards timelines, confidentiality, and client matters.
