Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced CNC Faculty / Trainer to deliver practical and theoretical training in CNC machining. The candidate will be responsible for training students in CNC operations, programming, machine setup, machining processes, and industrial practices while ensuring that students develop the technical skills required for employment.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct theory and practical training on CNC machines.
- Teach engineering drawing and basic machining concepts relevant to CNC operations.
- Train students in reading and interpreting technical drawings and machining specifications.
- Demonstrate CNC machine operations and ensure students follow proper operating procedures.
- Provide practical training on tool setting, workpiece setting, tool offsets and coordinate systems.
- Teach students about cutting tools, cutting parameters, feeds and speeds.
- Train students in CNC troubleshooting and basic machine maintenance.
- Introduce students to CAD/CAM and CNC simulation software where applicable.
- Conduct practical assessments, tests, assignments, and evaluations.
- Monitor student performance and provide individual guidance wherever required.
- Prepare lesson plans, training materials, practical exercises, and assessment records.
- Maintain proper attendance, academic records, and student progress reports.
- Ensure proper safety practices are followed inside the CNC laboratory/workshop.




- Keep students updated about current industrial practices and CNC technology.
- Support the placement team by preparing students for technical interviews and industry requirements.
- Participate in academic meetings, workshops, seminars, industrial visits, and other institute activities.
- Coordinate with the Academic Head regarding syllabus completion and student performance.
- Maintain discipline and a professional learning environment in the classroom and workshop.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of CNC Turning and CNC Milling/VMC.
- Good knowledge of G-code and M-code programming.
- Knowledge of CNC machine setup and operation.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings and basic manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, tooling systems, feeds, speeds, and machining parameters.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot common CNC machining problems.
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM or CNC simulation software will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Strong practical training and student-handling skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a straightforward and understandable manner.

Educational Qualification

- ITI / Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

- 1–3 years of industrial or teaching experience in CNC machining preferred.
