Job Description
We are seeking a talented and detail-driven BIM Modeler – Interior Design with 3 to 4 years of industry experience to join our creative and technical team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between design concepts and technical execution, transforming interior design concepts into highly accurate, parametric 3D models and comprehensive construction documentation.
The ideal candidate possesses a sharp eye for interior aesthetics, a deep understanding of fit-out materials and joinery detailing, and advanced proficiency in BIM workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Interior Modeling: Develop detailed 3D interior BIM models (LOD 300 to LOD 400) including custom furniture, fixtures, specialized ceiling systems, wall paneling, and finishes using Autodesk Revit.
- Documentation & Fit-out Drawings: Generate comprehensive interior fit-out packages, including detailed floor plans, reflected ceiling plans (RCP), interior elevations, finishes schedules, and complex joinery/millwork shop drawings.
- Material & Families Creation: Create and maintain parametric Revit families specifically for interior elements, furniture, and custom lighting fixtures.
- Coordination: Coordinate interior models with structural and MEPF disciplines using Navisworks to identify and resolve clashes early in the design phase.
- Visualization Support: Collaborate closely with the interior design lead to ensure design intent is accurately represented and prepared for high-quality 3D visualization.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Specialized BIM certification is a major plus.
- Experience: 3–4 years of solid experience as a BIM Modeler specifically focused on high-end commercial, residential, or hospitality interior projects.
- Software Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Interior workflows), AutoCAD, and Navisworks. Familiarity with 3ds Max, Enscape, or similar rendering tools is highly advantageous.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of interior materials, construction methods, joinery detailing, and fit-out execution.
- Attributes: Exceptional attention to scale, detail, and material applications, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
