Project Manager – Municipal Waste Management & Operations

Location: Mohali, Punjab.
Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview

We are looking for a Project Manager to oversee and drive the day-to-day execution of a municipal solid waste management project. The role will involve managing field operations, teams, fleet, municipal coordination, data/MIS and overall project performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee end-to-end municipal waste management operations and ensure timely execution of project plans.
- Manage and coordinate supervisors, field teams, patrol teams, collection teams and vehicle operations.
- Plan and monitor manpower deployment, routes, shifts and daily operations.
- Monitor fleet performance, including tippers, mini-tippers, RATs, patrol vehicles, JCBs and other equipment.
- Track and improve GVP/bulk waste clearance, collection efficiency and route adherence.
- Coordinate with municipal officials and other project stakeholders and ensure timely resolution of operational issues.
- Monitor project performance through dashboards, GPS, MIS and field reports.
- Prepare regular operational reports, KPIs and management updates.




- Identify operational gaps and implement process improvements and corrective actions.
- Ensure accountability, discipline and performance across field operations.

Requirements

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Management, Operations, Engineering, Environmental Management, Public Administration or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in project management, operations, logistics, municipal services or a related field.
- Strong team management, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Good working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets, MIS and operational dashboards.
- Experience working with government/municipal bodies or large field operations preferred.
- Willingness to undertake regular field visits and work in a fast-paced operational setting.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
