Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Cricket Coach to train and mentor students in developing their skills, techniques, and understanding of the game. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in cricket coaching, a commitment to student development, and the ability to foster sportsmanship and teamwork among young athletes.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and conduct cricket training sessions for students of different skill levels.

Develop age-appropriate coaching strategies to enhance students’ batting, bowling, fielding, and overall fitness.

Assess and improve players' technical skills through individual and team-based drills.

Prepare students for interschool, district, and national-level cricket competitions.

Teach the rules, strategies, and ethics of the game, emphasizing discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Maintain a safe and positive training environment, ensuring students’ physical and mental well-being.

Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.

Coordinate with the Physical Education department and school management to organize sports events, selection trials, and tournaments.





Ensure proper maintenance and availability of cricket equipment and facilities.

Encourage participation in fitness and conditioning programs to enhance endurance and performance.

Requirements:

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field. Cricket coaching certification from a recognized body (e.g., BCCI Level 1/2, NIS, ICC Coaching Certification) is preferred.

Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of coaching experience in a school, academy, or professional setup.

Strong understanding of cricket techniques, game rules, and coaching methodologies.

Excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate and mentor students.

Ability to develop personalized training plans based on students' skill levels.

Experience in organizing and leading school teams in tournaments.

Passionate about student development and fostering a love for sports.

Skills Description

Preferred Skills:

Experience in coaching students at competitive levels.

Ability to integrate fitness training, agility drills, and mental conditioning into coaching.

Familiarity with CBSE/IB/Cambridge school sports programs.

First aid training or basic sports injury management knowledge.
