- Review prescriptions for completeness, legality, dose, interactions, and allergies.
- Dispense correct medication following the “Five Rights.”
- Ensure proper labeling and documentation of all medicines issued.
- Maintain medication safety (LASA, high-alert drugs, ADR and medication error reporting).
- Manage inventory using FEFO; monitor expiry and stock levels.
- Ensure proper storage conditions and maintain temperature logs.
- Maintain narcotic/psychotropic drug records as per statutory requirements.
- Procure medicines from licensed vendors only.
- Provide patient counseling on dosage, duration, side effects, and storage.
- Participate in audits, quality indicators, and NABH MMU compliance.

Qualification & Eligibility

- D.Pharm / B.Pharm / M.Pharm from recognized institution




- Registered with Punjab State Pharmacy Council Only
- Valid pharmacy registration certificate
- Knowledge of NABH standards
- Required experience 2-4 years
