About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Engineer with 5+ years of experience to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines on AWS. In this role, you will work closely with architects, analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-performance data solutions. You will also play a key role in ensuring production reliability, enforcing data quality standards, and mentoring junior engineers.

Your Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and optimize scalable data ingestion and transformation pipelines
- Build secure data ingestion frameworks using AWS services and Lake Formation




- Implement fine-grained access control and security policies
- Write clean, efficient transformation logic using Python and advanced SQL
- Deploy and orchestrate pipelines using Airflow, Step Functions, or similar tools
- Perform performance tuning and ensure production pipeline reliability
- Follow ETL/ELT best practices and maintain code quality
- Collaborate with architects and analysts to develop robust data solutions

What To Bring

- Solid hands-on experience with AWS services such as Glue, S3, Athena, Lambda, EMR, and IAM
- Strong command over Python with experience in data engineering frameworks
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex transformations and performance tuning
- Practical experience implementing Lake Formation security and fine-grained access controls
- Proven ability to build scalable data ingestion and transformation pipelines
- Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow, Step Functions, or similar
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern ETL/ELT best practices
- Exposure to ADP or GCP environments and solid data quality enforcement skills
