Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Assistant Accountant with over 2 years of experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist with the preparation of financial statements, handle accounts payable and receivable, and support the senior accountant in various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities: -

- Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance.
- Aid in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Assist with tax preparation, audits, and identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Assist with payroll administration and ensure payroll issues are resolved.
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
- Perform monthly balance sheet, income statement, and changes in financial position/budget variance analyses.




- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
- Stay informed of industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. SAP FICO, Tally) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (Mandatory).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
